Hi there,
My teacher just showed to me this great app for 3D modeling, animation and dynamic 3d engine (this means that u can make games on it). The app name is Blender 3D and its site is [link]
Almost forgetting... Its freeware!! Runs in Windows, linux, mac and solaris!! :)

Its interface is not intuitive and its a bit different from the windows interface and full of keyboard shortcuts, so i highly recommend to read its documentation: [link] The HTML version: [link]
